Dr. Rizner, DVM, cVMA, ACVA, CRPM
Dr. Amanda Rizner did her undergraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire before attending the Ohio State University. Following an internship in NJ, she has practiced in New England since 2004. Dr. Amanda opened Ross Corner Animal Wellness Center in 2013. Besides providing all of the routine small animal wellness and sick care that you would expect, Dr. Amanda is certified in animal chiropractic, acupuncture, and rehabilitation medicine. She is an avid agility competitor and breeds Pembroke Welsh Corgis and is experienced in reproduction management, c-sections, OFA screenings, and PennHip.
Dr. Nicole Craft, DVM
Dr. Craft was raised in Northeast Louisiana, where she then went to undergrad at Louisiana Tech University. From there, she went to Ross University for her Doctoral Degree. It was there that she met her husband, who is also a veterinarian in the Southern Maine area. Together they have two daughters, two dogs, five cats, and two guinea pigs. Dr. Craft loves travel and is licensed in multiple states. In her free time she enjoys cooking, refinishing furniture, and relaxing.
Rachel, Licensed Veterinary Technician, Head Technician, Practice Manager
Rachel started working at Ross Corner in the fall of 2019 while attending York County Community College for her degree in Veterinary Technology. While here, she learned a lot of new skills. She graduated YCCC in May 2021 and received her associate’s degree in veterinary technology and passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam and became licensed in December of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys going disc golfing with her corgis and husband, doing yoga, crafting, going to concerts, ceramics, and anything outdoors. She is currently learning Spanish for fun in her free time as well. She has two corgis of her own named Miles and Gwen.
Jamie, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Jamie started working at Ross Corner in 2021, before that she was working in ER medicine. She has two dogs, Pandora and Sailor, chickens, some ducks and a couple of geese! She lives in Wakefield NH, with her family, where in her spare time you may just see her driving a tow truck.
Erica, Veterinary Assistant
Erica has been working for Ross Corner off and on since 2015. She has worked at various local animal clinics as well. She has two dogs and two cats.
Mikaela, Veterinary Assistant
Mikaela started working at Ross Corner in 2021. She has a 5 year old rescue dog named Fritz. She loves to read in her free time and loves working here.
Sheila, Veterinary Receptionist
Sheila started at Ross Corner in fall 2021. When not behind the front desk you’ll find her in her fiber studio at Falling Star Farm in Limington or training on the agility field with her young aussie.
Maighread, Veterinary Assistant
Maighread transitioned to working at Ross Corner from her position at a psych hospital in 2023. In her spare time she loves to get outside to hike, swim, snowshoe, and ski. She has a one-eared corgi named Vinny.
Luccia, Veterinary Assistant
Hello, my name is Luccia and I am so happy to be a part of the team here at Ross Corner. I started my career with animals at Smiling Hill Farm where I worked in the barn yard and dairy barn. From there I worked at The Scarborough Doggie cottage helping board dogs as well as work the daycare. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dogs and being outdoors hiking or fishing!
Taylor, Veterinary Assistant
Taylor started at Ross Corner in August 2024. She loves learning how to care for animals and being immersed in this environment. She doesn’t have any pets at the moment but that could very well change soon. In her free time she enjoys hiking, being by the lake, and spending time with friends and family.
Gabbea, Veterinary Receptionist
Gabbea Joined Ross Corner in 2026 as a receptionist. She has a variety of pets including a dog, cat, dwarf bunny, docs, and chickens. In addition to her work in the clinic, she runs three small businesses in cleaning, photography, and candle making. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and fiancé.
RifRaf, Clinic Cat
Rif is the resident cat here. When he’s not begging for food, you can find him snuggling in the fresh laundry, sleeping in his cat house, or shredding cardboard boxes. He is well loved by many and enjoys his time spent on your shoulder.
